I wanted to use a different color palette, one that matched the colors of the land and the contrast against the blues of the sky. Our tribe uses a lot of blues and earth colors in our beadwork to create stark contrasting palattes. It reminds me of all the foods that grow on our lands and the water that is needed to survive. We don't have a word for the horizon in our language so I call this Sky and Land or Tuxin ku Tiicham.
Our t-bottom pouches vary from small to large and can be used for pretty much anything. They make excellent pencil cases and cosmetic travel bags. They are constructed from a durable material with a zipper closure.
